Day 1

SOooo i started my cleanse/diet this morning. So day 1 is almost over and it hasn't been too bad. I havent been terribly hungry. They only thing is im not use to having caffeine so 3 glasses of green tea has me a little jittery. I think im going to cut back to 2 glasses a day. i Weighed in this morning and i will be weighing in again next monday.
So far so good!
I hope i really can do these 17 days if anything to prove something to Bostes (what i dont know) jajaja!

p.s the book says excercise for 17 min everyday and you know damn well my ass was at the gym for 17 min jajaaja!!

I Found the one

So...after looking online for some diets/detox i realized i should probably go to Barnes and Noble and look at my options. (i love this place)
Let the search begin....
LOTS of books!!! so after about a couple hours....of reading what i might like...
and me being annoyed..bc damn...i thought the hard part was being on the diet! not choosing it...i decide to take a break and treat myself to 
Pumpkin cheescake! DELISH!!!
This gave me the push and i decided on what diet i will be starting soon!
It seems pretty simple....i dont like anything crazy but i also need structure! So lean meats, vegetables, small portions it is!
So happy i decided on one!

i feel BLAAAAAAAA

Title says it all! i feel blaaa! nothing really fits, i feel as big as a house, my legs rub, jeans hurt my stomach their so damn tight! you get the point! we all feel like this from time to time..hopefully not all the time! ;)
Dont get me wrong...hunny i know i am cute and sexy but i need to lose some weight!
SO my goal is to lose some before i go visit my bestie in LA
Reasons why i know i will lose weight?!....BC im not allowing myself to buy any more clothes until i do so! and thats hard! bc the weather is changing!
Im allowed to buy accesories, shoes, make up....but no clothes! unless its a sweater jaja!

SO im looking for the perfect detox to help start me off! do yall know of any?
i was looking at a green detox that sounded pretty good (it has vegetables and fruits in smoothie form)

Also i want to try and eat all of these "super foods" daily
I like all of them so im excited to try this!!
well minus the quinoa...wtf is that??

Fish

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORGSS!!

Yesterday was my best friend Morgs Bday!!!
I totally meant to write this up yesterday but being a single mom with 3 kids in sports is not easy! jaja!

OKAY MORGAN!!! i met her thru YL and i remember the first time i talked to her was at the wake tech parking lot...i was so kind to say "hi morgan its me paula" and she claims i was yelling out of my car saying "eyyyy morgan" all loud and ghetto?! now...who do you believe?!
So ever since then which i think was in 05 we have been besties~ ser. i dont know what i would do without her! maybe laugh a little less or not get judged as much (since shes a pastor an all) jk but seriously she has been with me through a LOT... i know i can count on her always. and no matter what it is she will support me...even if she shakes her had and says "OH P" right after ja!

*she once wore her brothers outfit to the dixie house (em and bostes yall know exactly what im talking about)
* she is the only person i know that drives a stick
* she once had a dora haircut and then played Dora at family camp
* she is NEVER on time or just 1 hour late....its alays 3 + hours (and its not even shocking anymore)
* she sings during nertz and loves to say "shoot a monkey"
* she never gets "drunk"....
*that she's a part of "4 best friends" so lucky to have these ladies in my life!

God Bless AH ME RIII CAAAAAA

SOOOOOO i went to the ball!! LOVED every second of it and i was so freakin proud of my baby brother Andres! he was the MC for the night! and he did a great job! i didnt even know he could talk right (thats coming from me....i know i know.
I went with the blue dress! i LOVED it and it was really comfortable.

I had an amazing summer in raleigh...nothing much happened...and now i'm back in Scottsdale and loving it even more bc one of my best friends Bostes is my neighbor (she's in LA)!!!! i Hope to be seeing her very soon!

MY Bday WEEKKK!

AHHHH so i can truly say i had one of the best birthday ever!! i felt so celebrated and LOVED!
It started thur morning! ray the kids were up and B got up! ja! now that in itself is a bday present! she likes her sleep! I had a little present on the door "Prada to Nada" made me sooooo happy!

then The Bday lunch w/ Megan and Harps!
That night Whitneys took me out to dinner at Maggianos! had a photo shoot and had a blast! i LOVE them and im so thanful for them!

We came home and B and i were about to watch From Prada to Nada WHEN...... KERR surprised me!!!!!!! she just walked downstairs where we were and i started crying!! Ray caught it on camera! SERIously i have NEVER been surprised and it was the most overwhelming feeling/how thoughtful of her! ahhhhhh!!! Kerr and i had the BEST time! we didnt stop laughing from start to end! Our wknd consisted of naills/pedis, sushi, shots, champagne, gummi bears, friends, pita jungle, the sand bar, losing keys, Kerrs new friend Greg, parking lots, middle school pics, sharks, shopping when not flg so good, slugs in fruit, scorpions, hikes, never have i ever, teaching friends new games, runs (not happy), leaving surprises in bathrooms, shitting stories, bridesmaids, crying til we laugh, poking! SER. THANK YOU KERR for the best bday ever! I LOVE YOU SOOOOO Much and im so thankful to have you in my life! this summer will be CRAZYYYYYY!

Friday night Kerr, B, Alex Jen and I went to watch bridesmaids! didnt stop laughing once! YOU MUST go watch this movie!!!! Im going to watch it once more to make sure! BUT DUhhhh
Afterwards Kerr and i went for some drinks @ the Sandbar and lets just say we met some very interesting ppl. and a blastttt!

Sat. night was our bday party!!!!! i got a real size nikki minaj poster, imperial beer, tres leches, a lot of other fun thingss!!!

oh wowwww!

Reading my friend Ems blog inspired me to update my own!
SOOOO i understand that people change as they get older, and change is healthy whatever!
BUT i dont want my friends to change so much that they think a leaf is delicious! ill explain! Em turned Kale (which you might not know what that is) its a green into a chip! and called it delicious! false! i like to call it that "popeye and olivia shit" here is a pic of her "goodness?!

OKay im not playing anyone, just confused! i leave raleigh for 9 months and delicious is being used on a green?! im proud of Morgs, Bostes and Ems for being healthy! i will stay a fat ass...and thanku!

Happy Easter!!

Ahhhh i SUCK at posting!
Hope everyone had a wonderful easter and spent time w/ family and friends!!
I definitely did! My friend Jen/Lil Bit came to visit me from Park City! ANDDD we had a blastt!
She only had 48 hrs but we def. made the most of it!!
WE...shopped, ate, happy hour, had wine and bruscetta, played midnight bingo, had the MOST AMAZING EASTER BRUNCH of my life, watched 10 min of a movie in bed, caught up, layed out, got cancer, looked at over 100 magazines, hiked! AHHH it was like a vacation for me! i loved having her here and now shes working on how to get the ppl she babysitts for to take a vaca here!!!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy B!!!!!!!

Yesterday was B's Bday! we had so much fun celebrating! For lunch B her friend Alex and i went to lunch  @ this oh soo good restaurant "True Good" then for dinner we went to Dave and Busters and took the kids bowling there! oh and her dad joined us as well...To see Ray and B try to beat each other is hilarious! and if you know me @ all! you know that i dont have a single competetive bone in my body! jajaja....i was terrible but had so much fun and celebrated for the smallest accomplishments....ja!

If youre wondering what i ended up getting her....i got her this top that im obsessed with and want it! i actually would have gotten it for myself had they had my size, earrings and a madea movie DUHH!

Jennifer aka lil bit is coming to visit me for easter! yess sir' we will be praising the lord together jaja!

...and were back to normal weather

I Loved going to the movie yesterday and being @ barns and noble! it made me feel like i was back in Raleigh minus the friends and fam soooo! SUNNY AZ is better jaja! i ended up going to watch Limitless, it was pretty good! not awesome but good!

Oh okay this is really why im blogging...so when i bought my car it had a very distinct smell to it. i thought it was cigarettes but my friends said it was more like mildew while the Mexican guy who cleaned out my car said it smelled like "old people" this kids was HU LA RI YUS! he sounded like speedy gonzalez! no lie! ill try and post a video later of how he sounded! his final conclusion as how to get rid of smell was corona....he said "corona make everything better" i actually agree with him! but buddy what do i  do with the corona? pour it over my seats? i never got that answer bc i was laughing so hard!
sooo i had a smelly car! not dirty just a "unique smell" THATS when my search on google began as to how to get rid of it! My AZ friends made so much fun of me and then proceeded to ignore me as i read the multiple stories out loud on how to get rid of bad smells in car!
So 1st night i tried vinegar...yurp 2 bowls of vinegar left in car over night! well hunny! let me tell you! it smelled like vinegar! now im trying to get rid of that smell so i read coffee beans! on our way to church amy shey and i stopped @ starbucks sooo a bag of grounded coffee beans r sitting in my back seat! and yes! it works!!! i mean i smell like i serve starbucks out of my car! BUT THAT smell  is so much better that cigarette/old ppl/ trash! jaja

Another highlight and then i have to go to class! my friend Kerrigan is coming to visit me and then were driving back to NC in my car! ahhhhhhh 33 hours! and im so frikin excited!

ITS RAINY AND GREY IN AZ

SOO this weather NEVER happens here! so i fig it was the perfect day to blog some!

I actually LOVE days like these! it somehow makes me feel like its okay to be lazy!
ja! im in barns and noble and then going to a movie by myself!! ahhhh dont feel bad for me! i LOVE going to movies alone! its ser. one of my fav. things to do! not all the time of course! but sometimes its just what you need! im going to watch "The Lincoln Lawyer" my friend Ivan recomended it so im excited!

Updates! i BOught a car! ahhhh i love it! and so glad it will be better on gas!

So the other day my friend Mandy better known as Shark Bait said she was impressed by my writting lately on my blog...i asked her why? she said read your previous post and now you write out full words...well the reason for that?! bc im growing up! yurp..im still me...but do i really need to abbreviate EVERYTHING? nurppp...there it is!

I was in raleigh last week! ahhh yes! soo fun! i wish i would have gotten to see a lot more people than i did but bc of my limited time and having to watch the kids i wasnt able too! ITS okay its almost summer time and ill be there! woohoooo!

SO some of the fun things that i did...well, a couple of wine nights w/ my bffs' duhh! we established things like: 2 ply is better than none; She does!; all while being in the hot tub and as 3 cute little boys sleep...!
I got to see my mama and FINALLY got my hair done! yurp! i got it colored and washed! cut a little but not drastic! I havent been able to find anyone to do my hair here in Scottsdale so getting it done in raleigh was the bomb!
I got to eat some delish foods! like Bojangles! ja! Sushi blues and my favorite! MY MAMAS cooking! dont mamas always have a way of making everything taste ah may zing! ?


And then my trip was over....time to get back on that plane and head home! I must say the kids are ser. THE BEST travelors! they are so easy and pleasant to be around unlike other kids that suck!
And its nice to travel w/ B! I can always count on her making me laugh and keeps me entertained!
Ive said this multiple times but i wish i had a video camera following my life 24/7 bc they are ridic! and i know i add a little to that!

So now im back in Scottsdale...i had an amazing wknd! flagstaff got cancelled booo....due to weather HOWEVER we made up for it by doing the following: Brunches, happy hours, margaritas, shopping, driving, hikes and movies! yurp! all in 1 wknd! oh and of course Hanna had her last soccer game that i couldnt miss! shes awesome! okay...i only went to half! BUT i got the point ja!

I prob. wont be home until the summer BUT i want to enjoy the rest of my time here in Scottsdale and this beautiful weather! ahhhh this place is ser. gorgeous! ill add some pics of the sunset (my fav thing here)
